Kelly Jamieson

Office Manager

started working for Mr. Mortensen in September 2012. Prior to working with Mr. Mortensen in his private rooms I worked at Goulburn Valley Health in the Specialist Consulting Suites. I spent 5 years in this role and managed several portfolios, one of which was Mr. Mortensen’s public patient clinic. As my background already involved Urology knowledge and that of the public hospital system, I found this invaluable as I made the transition from ‘public system’ to private rooms. My background enables me to inform our patients of their treatment stream options.

Prior to working in the Medical Industry, I worked for Graham Hill Optometrists as an Optical Dispenser. This was a role that I very much enjoyed and is also where I met and began working with Jodie.

Working with Shepparton Urology Group is rewarding on many levels. My roles and responsibilities have grown with the transition of Mr. Mortensen’s private practice evolving into the formation of Shepparton Urology Group. I find the challenges of working within an ever-changing and fast paced environment rewarding. I find myself very lucky to work with a fantastic, capable and caring team of urologists, nursing staff, receptionists (both in Shepparton and our Melbourne branches) and our physiotherapist. Our team is very diligent and caring of supporting our patients needs.

Outside of work I enjoy being active; either cycling or at the gym, spending time with my family and friends, travelling and watching my 3 sons play sport.

Jodie Van Popering

Medical Receptionist

I started working for the Shepparton Urology Group in October 2017.
Growing up in Shepparton I started my working career at Graham Hill Optometrists as a receptionist. I worked here for two and a half years and then took on a newly created role at Goulburn Murray Credit Union as the Direct Entry Officer for Head Office.

I left the GMCU to start a new chapter into motherhood.

Working with the Shepparton Urology Group gives me a great work/life balance. My time here is busy and challenging and I love working closely with our patients to help meet their individual needs.

I find the SUG team to be a very supportive and friendly group and I am lucky to be a part of this team.
Outside of work I spend time with my family, enjoy catching up with friends and watching Richmond play (and WIN!).

Rachael Sherlock

Medical Receptionist

I joined the Shepparton Urology Group in February 2018, having previously worked at Focus Radiology for over 3 years.
Through my medical reception role, I enjoy being part of a highly supportive team. One of the best aspects of my job is getting to know our patients and supporting them on their journey through the medical system.

My role is varied and centres around working as part of a great team to keep the office running smoothly.

Having grown up in Shepparton, I spent 9 years working in Melbourne as a Business Manager for Pacific Brands. With a young family, I was pleased to move back to Shepparton some 11 years ago to raise our family.

Before joining the medical industry, I spent 6 years in a marketing role with Greater Shepparton City Council promoting the region’s businesses and services.

Outside of work I spend as much time with family and friends as I can, along with travelling, enjoying time outdoors and sports.
